ANSWER: Each STEM Bike kit comes with one (1) STEM Bike teacher manual, three (3) 24” & three (3) 26” Meerkats from Cleary Bikes, six (6) helmets, one (1) floor pump with pressure gauge, one (1) Allen multi-tool, one (1) pedal wrench, six (6) heart rate monitors, six (6) digital stopwatches, six (6) 25′ tape measures, and six (6) digital cones.

Each manual contains content for a minimum of 16 hours of instruction that includes healthy, physical activity. All of the supplies in the kit are non-perishable and are designed to last for several years. Some supplied items may need to be replaced over time.

STEM Bike includes activities and lessons surrounding energy and velocity of a bike ride, calculating calories and heart rate, and understanding the bike helmet through the engineering design process.

Yes, bike lessons are designed for use in both indoors and outdoors. 

Yes, digital resources are available for all of our STEM Sports kits by visiting the digital tools link found in your curriculum manual.  

Each curriculum has eight lessons aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and/or Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and/or National Standards for K-12 Physical Education.
